That’s where InFlavour comes in. Introducing our Five-Star Pitch Fest, a start-up pitch competition attracting hundreds of pioneers in food, agri-tech, hospitality and more, happening on-stage during the event.

All attendees will witness 30 semi-finalists battle it out on-stage to take one of the 6 finalist spots, going on to impress our panel of expert judges who will choose a winner for each of our three category awards, live!

All competitors are scored based on a 1-to-5 star system.

Day 1 Semi-Finals are dedicated for early-stage startups, of which 3 will qualify for the Grand Finale.

Day 2 Semi-Finals will host the more well-established startups, of which a further 3 will qualify for the Grand Finale.

In the end, there will be three winners - one prize each for the best early-stage startup and the best well-established startup, plus the InFlavour Award for best overall scoring startup.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

You must be registered as an exhibiting startup to be eligible to enter. Applicants will complete an online form verifying their startup, answering several questions, and attaching a short pitch deck to demonstrate why they deserve to win an award.

Startups will be scored from 1-to-5 by a mixed panel of semi-final investor judges, with 30 entrants qualifying for the semi-finals, judges will be looking for:

CREATIVITY

How creative is the innovation, idea or technology being used?

INNOVATION

How innovative and/or ground-breaking is the product?

POTENTIAL

How scalable is the startup in its potential to grow in revenue?

FUNCTIONALITY

Does the product function up to its full potential?

IMPACT

Is the product making waves and changing the sector landscape?

PEOPLE & SOCIETY

Does it improve lives, society and the environment?

All applicants will automatically be entered into the InFlavour Mentorship Scheme. The 10 most impressive startups, as chosen by a mentorship review board, will get 2 exclusive meetings with our best and brightest investor mentors.

SEMI-FINALS

15 startups from each category will qualify for the Semi-Finals.

In each session, 5 startups will pitch for 3 minutes each, followed by 3 grilling questions from the judging panel of 4 well-renowned and industry specific investor judges.
